This program offers intensive visual skills coaching for elite players for any sport. Expert guidance is given as the player develops their Visual Performance Skills. Each athlete is given their own individualized Visual Plan. These will be tailored to specific needs in relation to a player’s Specific needs and Specific position.
SlowTheGameDown ® Performance Vision Training Program offers programs in all sports from Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Tennis, Hockey, Golf, MMA and more.
The Training typically involves a min. of 6 -12 sessions focusing on extending & speeding up motor- visual reactions. Each session lasts 30-60 minutes. Athletes will go through a program that will test their visual limits to the max. They will improve visual skills including speed of reaction, depth Perception, and tracking. But most importantly athletes will learn a method to stay VisuaL, Get in the Zone and SlowTheGameDown. A key component is to learn "how" to have Visual Trust and Confidence.

This is not a routine eye examination where takes 10-15 minutes to asks a few question, look at your eyes, ask "which is better 1 or 2", review some test results and write you a prescription.
In a minimum one hour evaluation, Dr. Bill or Dr. Alicia Harrison will assess your vision with multiple traditional and non-traditional tests of your vision in relationship to performance,in order to pinpoint areas in which improvements can be made.

Our experience with NCAA athletes is that 30% have a vision deficiency that needs to be resolved. Some of the vision deficiencies are considered minor but faster recognition and a a few milliseconds of accuracy, can likely make a difference.
